The founder of Rosehill Tailoring Tony Mcdonald has worked in the clothing trade since the age of 16. Employed with the prestigious Alexander Milnes, Tony trained in all aspects of the industry from pattern drafting and pattern grading, creating new styles and designs through to learning about fabrics and finish.                                                                  

Spending all free time in the pursuit of perfecting his practice, Tony's dedication to fashion was rewarded by promotion to cutting room manager followed by factory manager and then the ultimate role of offshore development was added to his title. By learning the clothing trade from the cutting room through to business management and quality control  equipped Tony with the necessary skills to branch out on his own to start Rosehill.

"With mass production and tailoring being completely different, the first year of business was spent adapting and developing couture techniques until he created a format that works for him and still does". 

Established in 1996 and fondly named after Tony's home town, Rosehill Tailoring has attracted clients from the legal profession, business, commerce and television such as the popular 'Ladettes to Ladies' production.
